CIGAR REVIEW/ H. Upmann 1844 Titan Reserve

October 30, 2013

This review will be quick.  Whatever.  It’s an indifferent smoke with a hot finish.  Not strong, not spicy, just HOT.  Like smoking dry weeds.

The cigar itself is beautifully made, the cut was good and the burn was even. Those are easy compliments for a company with the reputation of H. Upmann.  You should EXPECT that from a premium brand.

H. Upmann says “the Titan Reserve cigars are rolled using an aged, rich blend of Nicaraguan and Honduran long fillers, a spicy Nicaraguan binder, and a dark, luxurious San Andres Morrón wrapper”.

I say, they are wholly uninteresting and lack distinction.
